Showered with style

The arrival of an invitation typically evokes one common question among woman...."what will I wear?", and with no less than 3 baby shower invitations sitting on my desk, the outfit dilemma is starting to invade my sleep.

Any invitation with the term 'shower' in it is the perfect occasion for you to channel your inner 'girly' girl and pull out something light and airy.

It goes without saying that I adore white, but of course, a pop of colour or a gorgeous print would be equally as perfect.

If you don't do dresses, choose some pants in a soft 'floaty' fabric (think 'liquid silk')  and team with a simple, elegant top or button through shirt.

'Showers' tend to be daytime events, so don't over do it with your accessories; A great pair of shoes, understated jewellery and a gorgeous clutch will compliment your outfit perfectly, and simply put, you be... nothing less than chic..
