New season essentials
22 March 2013
With the beginning of the new season upon us I can hear the distant cries rising from the inside of women's wardrobes...."I have nothing to wear!"
If you are hitting the shops this weekend to deal with your wardrobe crisis, do it purposefully, otherwise you will find yourself crying, "I have nothing to wear.... "with".....
The pencil skirt, cropped pants, ankle boots, a blazer and a hint of leather are my top picks for the season, and don't walk passed the peplum silhouette...it works wonders on most body shapes.
Wardrobe crisis.... over.
Have a great weekend

Weekend Chic
19 March 2013
After the birth of my second babe, I made the decision to follow a dream, and turn my back on lining the pockets of the corporate high flyers and leave the safety of the office in order to line my own.
For those of us who enjoy fashion and consider looking good a priority, one of the fun things about working in a corporate environment is that our work and weekend wardrobes are, in most cases, worlds apart, and playing dress up is all part of the game.
If your business is in it's infancy, then you are no stranger to the fact that your iMac has become your coffee companion and the daily dress up, can quickly become the daily "dress down", with your weekend and work wardrobes slowly morphing together to become one.
If you find yourself in a bit of a wardrobe rut, learn to play up the basics.
A fantastic pair of blue jeans and a basic white tee should be staples in our wardrobes and these two simple pieces can be the building blocks of a chic, casual outfit.
Team them with some killer heels, or a cute pair of flats, and a statement piece of jewellery and all of a sudden you have moved from "home-body" to nothing less than chic...
Enjoy the freedom that building your own destiny brings, and remember, looking good, is not something you have to compromise.
Stay true to style.
